Emeralite Antique Partner Desk Double Banker Lamp, Green Shades #31811

This unusual lamp was created for a partner's desk, a double sided desk with two "partners" facing each other, and is signed by famous maker, "Emeralite, Pat. Aug. 15, 1916, NY, USA." This marvelous "banker's" desk lamp has a pair of original emerald green glass shades, signed "Czechoslovakia."

To reflect light down onto paperwork, the interior of the blown shade was cased with a layer of opal white glass, the bottom edge was then ground and polished.

An embossed brass weighted base with pen holders and brass trays has adjustable shade angles and nice tarnish for a little antique patina. Standard base brass sockets with pull chain switches have been rewired for safety. Bulbs not included.

The base is 10" x 12," height is 18" overall.
