Victorian Eastlake Queen Size 2 pc. 1885 Antique Bedroom Set, Marble Top

From the late Victorian or Eastlake period about 1885, a wonderful bedroom set includes a queen size bed and marble top dresser or chest with a swivel mirror. Richly carved of solid walnut with burl panels, the deep finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. The bed has been expertly adapted to fit a standard modern queen size mattress and innerspring as shown. Wood slats underneath are included.

The bed measures 5' 6" wide, 7' 1" long. The headboard is 7' 2" tall and the footboard is 34" tall.

The dresser has a "Tennessee Red" marble top, polished and sealed to resist stains. Dovetailed drawers have shell design brass pulls, there is a locking jewelry drawer in the center. The original beveled swivel mirror has "smoke" to show its age.

Measurements are 46" wide, 20" deep and 7' tall. The marble surface is 31" tall.
