In wonderful condition, this nostalgic French cookstove is cast iron with brass mounts and a porcelain "tile" exterior. Made during the Victorian period about 1890, this nostalgic antique is signed "Faure Pere et Fils (Father and Son), Revin, Ardennes," in the south of France.
The porcelain has small chips and scratches at the edges, there is a water heater on the right with a brass cover and faucet. Concentric iron rings in the top fit various pots, and this is one of the most charming stoves we have ever seen.
