The bench arrived just yesterday and I wanted to let you know how especially pleased I am with the purchase. The proportions and styling of the piece are quite pleasing; the carvings were obviously executed by a master carver; the color of the wood is a rich, dark brown which is wonderfully enhanced by the fine finish. In short, the piece quite exceeds my expectations.
I also wanted to note that the bench was finely packaged (always a consideration when having purchases shipped to my home in Alaska). The crate was well-made and the piece itself was wrapped in multiple layers of padded blankets and then the whole covered over in shrink-wrapped plastic. Needless to say, the bench arrived in just the condition as described on your website.
It was a pleasure doing business with the Harp Gallery. I'll continue to check your website for possible purchase of other items of the same caliber as my bench.

David picked this up on Saturday and we are just thrilled with it! If I didn't know better, I would think you had come to my house and matched the finish to my existing cabinets which are original to the house built in 1909. The size is just perfect for our smallish kitchen and we've used it so much in just two days. I'm still amazed we won it since I figured it would be a very "hot" item on ebay with its unique nature. Thank you so much for it and for letting us pick it up so quickly!

If possible, I would love to know what color finish you used on it and what brand. We will be restoring our kitchen and butler's pantry in the next couple of years and will be installing new cabinets and refinishing the woodwork in the butler's pantry. I'd love to know what you used since it matches our woodwork so well.
