The solid quarter-sawn oak top and pedestal have beautiful fine grain on an Arts and Crafts or Mission Oak period round dining table with 6 leaves. A rich deep satiny brown finish is in excellent condition. The clean-lined pedestal splits when extended, revealing a center leg for extra supports.
Six 12" leaves have matching skirts or aprons and fit and match very well. One leg has a stable shrinkage separation from age, see photo. Rugged American antique furniture from about 1900, measurements are 54" diameter, 30" tall, legroom underneath is 26" high, and when fully extended, the table is 10' 6" long.
