Oak Antique Executive Desk, Carved & Paneled

Deeply carved of solid oak and chestnut, this imposing English manor house executive desk has "linenfold" design panels. The deep rich brown finish is excellent, the top was inlaid with accent strips of ebony.

"Distressed" and rounded at the edges to look hundreds of years old, this is well-made American furniture from the 1920's. Below the top is a carved frieze of traditional Celtic motifs. Deep drawers are dovetailed, there is a large file drawer and two pull-out shelves as well.
