Four matched bookcase doors have original stained and leaded glass windows from a chateau in central France.
Frames are oak, and we see minor flakes and one chip - see photos. Central hand-painted and fired or flashed motifs are of a coal mine, source of the family fortune. Women workers, a miner's lamp and the mine elevator are depicted by a glass artist.
Dating from about 1880, each door measures about 21" wide, 1" deep and 69" tall.
