Mohair Dropside Antique Sofa or Settee

Made in Spain in the 1920's, this sofa or settee has "drop-side" arms. The original genuine mohair upholstery in a luscious red is worn at the corners, see photos.

Brass nailhead trim is original, springs are comfortable and supportive. Mohair cushions reverse to a tapestry side, one has staining, see photo. Brass posts secure silk ropes, maple bun feet have their original finish. A mechanism on the back drops each side through several angled positions, down to flat.

Size of this antique furniture is 30" tall, 32" deep, the seat is 16" high, length with the arms raised is 5' and lowered, length is 8' total.
