Victorian Swinging Cradle, Carved Swan

A nostalgic Victorian swinging baby cradle has a detachable swan neck holder for a canopy or mosquito netting to keep a baby safe.

Carved of fruitwood, the old finish is very fine with just enough mars and wear for a little patina. On this 1890 era furniture, there is an old metal brace where the swan neck was repaired.

Measurements of this charming antique from the American south are 4' long, 25" wide and 69" tall.
