Signed in gold by famous maker, "Macey," a three stack lawyer's or barrister's bookcase is shimmering quarter-sawn oak.
This early 1900's antique American furniture dates from the Mission Oak or Arts and Crafts period. All original including the very fine finish, wavy glass, labels and knobs, except for the center one, which was recarved long ago.
Three sections each have three panes of charming wavy glass, there are separate base and top sections.
One section accommodates books up to 13" tall and 101/2" wide, and two sections up to 11" tall and 10 1/2" wide. Overall dimensions are 35" wide, 12" deep and 52" tall.
