Carved of solid mahogany about 1820 during the classic English Regency period, this game table has a flip top, exposing a pair of burnished bronze counters or scorekeepers, possibly for a roulette game.
The top is a single wide plank of mahogany with gorgeous grain, the polished finish is excellent with a few mars for antique patina to the graceful pedestal. Feet have cast brass tips and wheels. The counters can be tightened and locked or free spinning on this historic English furniture.
