Toleware Hand Painted Tray Coffee Table

A hand painted tin toleware butler's serving tray from the early 1900's has been fitted with a modern faux "bamboo" stand.

The tray has a parrot with flowers surrounded by an intricate gold pattern against a black lacquer ground. There are scratches, edge chips and and wear for a little antique character, see photos.

The base is about 40 years old and in excellent condition in black lacquer accented with gold.

Dimensions of this picturesque antique are 29" long, 22" wide and 19" tall.
