Signed by Tauber Bros. of Chicago about 1925, this superior quality dining table extends to over 10' long. The top of this grand table is matched walnut burl, opulent banding is elm burl and tulipwood.
The gracefully carved trestle base table base is walnut, mahogany and fruitwood hardwood. The finish on this table is excellent.
Five original 11" matching leaves have skirts or aprons, two are burl grain, three center leaves are straight grain. When extended, a double center leg gives extra support.
Measurements are 47" wide, 29" tall, legroom is 24 1/2" underneath, length when closed is 69" and with all leaves in place, length is 10' 4" total.
