An 1880's Eastlake solid walnut chest or dresser has a marble top, and would make a nice vessel sink vanity. Similar installations are pictured under "Articles" on our website, see home page.
This dresser has wonderful scalloped moldings, fluted columns, and a swivel beveled mirror. The walnut burl accents are beautiful. Spoon or incised carving is characteristic of the era.
Drawers are dovetailed and hardware is original. The white marble has stains - see photos.
The finish is excellent on this American antique furniture. Measurements are 48" wide, 23" deep, 74" tall, and the marble surface is 27 1/2" from the floor.
