Hand carved of solid oak about 1900, this library desk reflects the European version of Arts and Crafts design.
The deep ruddy finish is excellent, accenting the stylized paw feet and understated carving. Keys operate the brass locks and serve as pulls, drawers have hand cut dovetails. Hand cut dovetails secure the backside.
This antique furniture from Denmark is three separate stacking pieces for easy moving.
Measurements are 56" long, 32" deep, 30 1/2" tall and the kneehole is 22" wide and 24" tall.
