Birdseye Maple Antique 1895 Table Washstand

What appears to be a table made of shimmering birdseye maple has a hinged lid that opens to a washstand with a beveled mirror and space for a bowl and pitcher set.

The exterior has a very fine finish with a few mars at the edges for antique character, the interior is worn and has inkstains. An engraved signature plate reads "The Ross Table Washstand, patented, Manufactured by Forest City Furniture Co., Rockford, Ill."

Measurements in table position are 30" long, 22" deep and 29" tall, with the lid and mirror raised, height is 57."
