A genuine Sheraton period 1820's dropleaf table was originally intended for dining - it is rather low and today might also serve as a hall console, sofa or buffet table.
Masterfully crafted of solid cherry, this historic table is accented with matched flame grain and tiger maple panels.
Hand made furniture from the American East Coast, the satiny finish is in excellent condition. There is a worn spot on the top plus a few mars at the edges for character, see photos. Shaped spiral legs are exquisite.
Measurements when closed are 47" wide, 24" deep, 28" tall and legroom under the skirt is 21" high. Open size is 44" x 47."
