Spanish Colonial Dressing Table or Desk & Chair

Richly hand carved in Argentina in the 1940's, this dressing table, vanity or desk and chair are in traditional Spanish Colonial design.

The finish is in excellent condition, enhancing the high relief artistry in solid fruitwood. There are ink stains in the top, see photos. Drawers have hand cut dovetails and original hardware.

Desk size is 43" wide, 20" deep, 37" tall, the writing surface is 31 1/2" high and legroom is 23" high in the center.

The chair is strong and tight, the hand tooled leather seat has brass nailheads. Measurements are 17" wide, 16" deep, 33" tall and the seat is 18" high.
