Allegresse or Exultation 1900 Raphael Antique Statue Lamp

A lovely figure of a young woman has an engraved plate in French, "Allegresse" or Exaltation, and this 1900 era sculpture is mounted as a lamp and signed "X. Raphael."

The statue is barefoot and captures her while moving, her naturalistic pose is characteristic of the Art Nouveau period. This work of art has its original finish in deep bronze tones on spelter, a cast white metal alloy similar to pewter.

Included are three glass beaded shades that can be wired to fit over the light bulbs, they need some restringing. Cord and sockets are rewired for American current. Height of this artistic antique lamp from France is 31."
