Hotel 1860 Antique Countertop Mailbox Desk

Made for a country hotel about 1860, a countertop mailbox desk is solid walnut. The brass lock and iron key still work on this American crafted antique.

Inside are letter boxes and ledger slots plus hand dovetailed drawers, one with pen and inkwell compartments.

The old finish is very well preserved with vibrant patina on this nostalgic furniture, it is usable on a tabletop or wall mounted. Size is 35" wide, 14" deep and 30" tall.
