London 1880 Beaver Top Hat, Leather Case

A formal beaver top hat from about 1880 was sold by "Lincoln Bennett and Co., Piccadilly, London," and has its original worn leather case.

There is wear to the hat, see photos, which is a man's small size. Labels on the case indicate the hat has traveled to Napels, Italy. It has a later label by a costume rental company in Iowa. Old steamship labels are charming on the shaped case.
