Country Store Butcher Chopping Block or Kitchen Island

Made for a Wisconsin country store about 1920, a rugged solid hard maple butcher's chopping block makes a great kitchen island or wine tasting table.

Well worn, there is lots of antique character - dings, stains and shrinkage separations from age. Sides have a very good finish with glowing warm patina, the top is oiled to be usable for chopping.

Legs are slightly askew - see photos, size is 24" long, 18" wide and 35 1/2" tall.
