English Tudor 1925 Carved Oak Dining or Writing Table

Richly carved in the English Tudor manner about 1925, this dining table or library writing desk has 2 pull out leaves.

Quarter sawn oak has a deep brown finish that is in excellent condition. This American made furniture is signed "John M. Smythe, Chicago." There is a restoration under the finish on the top, see photos.

The frame is strong and tight, measurements are 66" long when closed, 31 1/2" high and legroom is about 25" underneath. Both draw leaves are 22" wide, so overall length is 9' 2."
