Carved Pine 1840's Antique 10' Store Counter

Used in our gallery for 25 years, we have rearranged and offer our favorite store counter of all time.

Hand crafted for a butcher shop in Dubuque, Iowa, about 1840, this rugged store furniture has classical scrolls and curved moldings, square nailheads are visible.

The honey golden finish is in very good condition with glowing warm patina, preserving losses, stains, shrinkage separations and dings for antique character.

Inside is rough and unfinished, it could be fitted with shelves if desired.

Measurements of this historic counter are 10' 4 1/2" long, 26" deep and 32" tall.
