Gunn 6 Stack Barrister or Lawyer 1901 Oak Bookcase

Signed "Gunn of Grand Rapids, Mich, Patented 1901," a 6 stack lawyer's or barrister bookcase is all original in quarter sawn oak.

The finish is very well preserved with a little wear and "crazing" for antique character. Waxed and buffed, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain the patina on this American made furniture.

The top and base are separate stacking sections. Wavy glass is original in the lift up doors that glide smoothly in and out.

Sections hold books up to 10" wide, 3 sections are 11" tall, one is 9" tall and one is 10" tall. Overall size is 34" wide, 12" deep and 7' tall.
