Victorian Walnut Antique 1860's Queen Size Bed, Hand Carved Crest

A wonderful Victorian period 1860's bed with a heroic hand carved crest is shown with a queen size mattress. The deep lustrous finish is in excellent condition with warm patina on this American made furniture from the Civil War era. Book matched arched panels are beautiful.

Expertly adapted, this graceful antique bed now fits a standard modern queen size mattress and box spring that are 20" tall together as shown. Wood slats to support bedding are included.

Measurements are 86" long, 71" wide, the head board is 7' 9" tall and the footboard is 29" high.
