This pump or reed organ from around 1885 is signed, "Charles F. Netzow of Milwaukee, Wis." and is in very good playing condition.
The solid walnut case has the original finish, which is very well preserved with a few stains on a candle stand and the top especially, see photos. Waxed and polished, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its warm patina.
There is incised "spoon" carving of the era. Ends have handles, there is storage behind the music desk and pull out cover over the keys. The right knee operated loud pedal works, the left one is missing. Tone is strong and resonant on this historic musical instrument.
Measurements are 48" wide, 24" deep and 52" tall
