Italian Dessert or Beverage Cart, Tea Trolley

About 40 years old, this dessert, tea or beverage cart has beautifully inlaid marquetry of burl ash and satinwood. The gold plated hardware and galleries are original, large wheels roll smoothly.

There are small chips and losses around the posts and edges of the glossy original finish, the top is slightly warped and there is some discoloration on the gold mounts, see photos.

Traditional hand made marquetry work from the Sorrento region of Italy, there is a triple bottle caddy on the lower shelf.

This vintage cart measures 28" long, 20" wide and 29" tall. Shipping can be as much as the cart itself, so this charming piece is local pickup only.
