Signed by famous maker, "Globe" of Cincinnati, Ohio, about 1900, this splendid little stacking file cabinet has 12 drawers of various sizes.
Quarter sawn oak has a very fine old finish, the top has been revarnished for durability. The rest has been waxed and polished, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its antique patina.
Pulls and label holders are original on this American made office furniture, stacking just like the lawyer's bookcases of the same period.
On top are two 3x5 card files with pushers, under are six 9x15 legal document drawers and below are 4x9 check files. Overall size is 18" wide, 18" deep and 44 1/2" tall.
