Empire Antique 1903 Carved Chair, Lion Paw Feet

This American Empire armchair was purchased new by my grandparents in 1903, the original glossy finish is remarkably well preserved with only minor wear as shown.

Graceful curves and carved lion paw feet are beautiful, the birch and mahogany frame is tight and strong. Comfortable springs and tufted soft velvet upholstery are in very fine condition.

Measurements are 28" wide, 27" deep, 38" tall and the seat is 18" high.
