Bronze 1880 Antique Classical Greek Palmette Finial

This architectural salvage finial was cast in solid bronze about 1880 in the form of a classical "Palmette," originally found in ancient Egypt and later in classical Greek architecture. Salvaged long ago, we have no idea where this was originally placed. This sculpture has a rich patina.

Height is 6" excluding the attached screw, width is almost 4" and the base is 1 1/2" diameter.
