Victorian Eastlake Queen Size 1880 Antique Bed, Walnut & Burl

A splendid carved bed from the late Victorian or Eastlake period has been expertly adapted to fit a standard modern queen size mattress as shown.

American made antique furniture is solid walnut with burl panels, the satiny finish is in excellent condition. Rope twist moldings and hand carved details are beautiful.

Original side rails have been extended to fit a queen size mattress and spring unit, the demonstrator set in photos is 16" thick together. Wood slats underneath are included.

Dimensions of this stately bed are 87" long, 69" wide, the headboard is 84" tall and the footboard is 39" high.
