English Oak 1900 Antique Travel Writing Box

An English travel writing box from about 1900 opens to compartments for stationery and pens, plus a small fold out writing surface.

Solid fine grained oak, the original finish has warm patina and just enough wear for a little character. interior mounts are nickel, the key is lost.

The brass shield is monogrammed on this picturesque antique, the "laptop" of the day.Size of the closed box is 10 1/2" wide, 8" deep and 8 1/2" tall.
