A magnificent Empire design round dining table from about 1900 has six leaves and a six column pedestal with carved lion paw feet.
The deep gleaming finish is in excellent condition on richly figured mahogany, the top and leaves are wide planks of solid mahogany. There are only minor mars at the edges, see photos.
When opened, the substantial pedestal splits, revealing a center leg for extra support.
Leaves are 13" wide and have skirts or aprons on this American made antique furniture. Dimensions are 5' diameter, 30" tall, legroom is 25" underneath, when all six leaves are in place, length is 11' 7" overall.
