A swivel desk armchair from around 1910 is solid quarter sawn oak. The gleaming finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique office or library furniture. There is some wear at the bottom of the base, see photos.
Reglued and restored, this historic chair is tight and strong. Curved lumbar spindles, sculpted seat and wide curving arms and back are very comfortable. The original iron mechanism has adjustable height and tilt. Later ball bearing wheels roll smoothly.
Measurements are 22" wide, 21" deep, 32" tall and the seat is 18" high, adjustable up and down.
