Hand carved of solid oak in the Renaissance manner, a sideboard cabinet from the 1880's has stained glass windows and lion head, nut and shell motifs.
The serving area is revarnished for durability, the rest of the finish is extremely well preserved, and has been waxed and buffed, so all that is needed to maintain its patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.
Brass hardware is original on this antique furniture from France. The upper section is removable for easier shipping. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints. Hand leaded stained glass windows have a chip and a hairline crack, see photos.
Measurements are 45 1/2" wide at the crown, 20" deep and 7' 7" tall.
The matching cabinet in photos is priced and sold separately, call or email for availability.
