A pair of swivel stools with cast iron bases were made for a drug store soda fountain in Minneapolis about 1900.
The solid birch shaped revolving seats have an excellent finish on this salvaged antique furniture. American made, the worn painted finish on the bases is picturesque.
These stools were meant to screwed to the floor, alternatively, they could be attached to a board instead for stability.
Measurements are 11" diameter at the seat and 30" tall. The base is 6 3/4" square.
