Stow Davis 1920's Executive Desk, Walnut & Ebony Marquetry, Burl & Banding

One of the finest 1920's executive desks that we have ever seen, this spectacular furniture is signed by noted maker, "Stow Davis of Grand Rapids, Mich."

Walnut is inlaid with ebony, satinwood, rosewood and white oak. Marquetry designs, banding and matched grain panels are stellar. The finish is in excellent condition with warm antique patina.

Deep drawers have original bronze pulls and solid walnut dovetailed sides. There is a file drawer and two matching pull out shelves as well. Deep moldings and bun feet are stately. Describe locking mechanism, there is no key.

Measurements are 72" wide, 40" deep and 30" tall. The generous knee area is 27" wide and 23 1/2" tall.
