Vernis Martin 1890 Antique French Vitrine or Curio Cabinet, Hand Painted

A elegant curved glass French 1890 era vitrine or curio display cabinet has the original "Vernis Martin" finish, a traditional frosty bronze technique with hand painted courting scene and flowers.

There is wear to the original finish plus shrinkage separations from age on this antique furniture, see photos. Embossed cast brass mounts are original with a few pieces missing. The wavy curved glass door is also original with a working lock and key. Inside are two curved plate glass shelves.

Size of this historic display cabinet is 29" wide, 18" deep and 69" tall.
