Hand hewn of solid oak in Scotland about 1870, this country manor hall bench is well worn with loads of antique character.
The old finish is very well preserved and has been waxed and buffed, so that all that is needed to maintain its luster is an occasional wipe with a soft cloth.
The seat is birch and has been revarnished for durability. Arms have pegged joints and panels are hand chamfered.
Dimensions are 71" wide, 22" deep, 46" tall and the seat is 20" high.
