Venetian Style Bombe 1920's Antique Chest or Dresser, Hand Painted

Lavishly carved and hand painted in the Venetian manner, this hand painted "bombe" chest or dresser was actually American made around 1925.

The finish is in excellent condition, enhancing the delicate painting and matched ash burl with sunburst designs. There are touchups to this historic set, which is accented in dark bronze tones.

Drawers have solid oak dovetailed sides, embossed hardware is original.

Size is 56" wide, 24" deep and 37 tall.
