A souvenir from a trip to Egypt about 60 years ago, this genuine camel saddle makes a nice bench or stool.
The frame is black lacquered hardwood, secured with woven sinew and brass nailheads, there is some wear to the finish. One post has a brass cap with the pyramids, sphinx and a camel. The laced red leather cushion is well worn with loose cording at the edges, see photos.
