A set of six 1900 era dining chairs have carved pressback "North Wind" designs, one chair has slightly different front legs and cross spindles, see photos. They are made of ash, maple, and oak.
All are tight and strong, reglued to serve another generation. The deep restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving just enough mars and dings for a little antique character. American made furniture from the Victorian period, the picturesque carving is boldly scaled.
Size is 21" wide, 21" deep, 38" tall, seats are 18" high and 16" deep, the different chair is about 1/2" shorter as shown.
