We rarely see a set of 12 late Victorian or Eastlake period dining chairs like this, they are carved of solid oak about 1880.
Completely restored, the frames are reglued to serve another generation, the satiny finish is excellent. Soft upholstery of a period design and comfortable padding is new. American made antique furniture, finely carved detailing is beautiful.
The arm chair measures 24" wide, 24" deep, 38" tall and the seat is 19" high, the seat is 20" wide and 19" deep. One side chair does not have the carved molding under the upholstered back, see photos. Eleven side chairs are 19" wide, 21" deep, 36" tall and the seats are 18" wide and 17" deep.
