Art Deco Waterfall 1930's Vintage Cedar Blanket Chest or Trunk, Signed Lane

From the Art Deco period in the late 1930's, a "waterfall" design blanket chest or trunk is lined with genuine aromatic cedar which repels moths and other insects.

Signed "Lane of Altavista, VA," this vintage furniture has a velvet lined tray that opens with the lid. The restored finish is in excellent condition, enhancing matched mahogany, walnut and burl panels. In the base is a wide drawer.

The latch is removed for safety, but included separately. Measurements are 47" wide, 19" deep and 26" tall.
