French Carved Walnut 1890's Antique Sideboard & China Cabinet, Beveled Glass

Masterfully hand carved of walnut in France in the 1890's, an elegant sideboard and china cabinet has graceful three dimensional details. The top of the base has a restored finish for durability, the rest of this antique furniture has a very fine original finish, waxed and buffed so all that is needed to maintain the warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.

There are shrinkage separations from age and minor losses, see photos. Drawers have solid oak sides with hand cut dovetail joints, hardware is original. Upper locks work, lower locks do not. Raised shaped panels are distinguished on this antique European furniture. The original shaped and beveled glass door has carved grillwork.

Two separate pieces for easier moving, shelves adjust on wooden supports. Measurements are 63" wide, 23" deep, 8' 6" tall and the base is 40" high.
