Vernis Martin 1900 Antique French Vitrine or Curio Display Cabinet, Hand Painted

A elegant curved glass French 1890 era vitrine or curio display cabinet has an original "Vernis Martin" finish, a traditional frosty bronze finishing technique with hand painted courting scene and flowers.

There is wear to the original finish plus minor touchups, preserved with new clear satin varnish on this antique European furniture, see photos. Embossed cast brass mounts are original. The locking door and sides are curved glass, inside are two shaped plate glass shelves.

Size of this historic display cabinet is 28" wide, 17" deep and 58" tall.
