Victorian 1865 Antique Queen Size Walnut Bed, Hand Carved Head

A spectacular Victorian period queen size bed was hand carved of solid walnut with burl panels about 1865.

A three dimensional sculpture of a head is on the imposing crest of this American made furniture. The restored finish is in excellent condition, enhancing graceful curves and paneling.

This grand antique has been expertly adapted to fit a standard modern queen size mattress, the demonstrator set in photos is 18" thick together. Wood cross supports as shown are included.

Measurements are 72" wide and 89" long. The headboard is 7' 11" tall and the footboard is 39" tall.
