Mountains in the Alps, Original Oil Painting signed Gast, Germany 1940's Vintage

Mountains in the Tyrolean Alps is the subject of this original oil painting on canvas. Signed by the German artist, Karl L. Gast, his biography is on the back of the frame. He was born in Berlin, Germany in 1907, and specialized later in life in landscapes of his beloved alpine scenery.

There is a professional repair to the canvas, see photos. The dark bronze gilt frame is original to this work of art.

Overall measurements are 43" wide, 31" tall and 3" deep.
