French Design 1940's Vintage Satinwood 7 Pc. Bedroom Set, Full Size Bed

A French design 7 piece bedroom set from the 1940's includes a full size bed, dresser, tall chest, vanity or dressing table, bench and two wall mirrors. The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving a few mars at the edges for a little character, see photos.

Shimmering matched genuine satinwood has dark bronze accents. American made vintage furniture, no maker's signature survives on this superior quality set.

An upholstered platform or "bunky board" has been made for the bed to use instead of a spring unit, this keeps so much of the headboard from being covered up by bedding, only a mattress is needed.

The bed measures 58" wide, 80" long, the headboard is 50-1/2" high, & the footboard 25-1/2" high.

Side pieces have drawers with solid oak dovetailed sides and original embossed pulls.

The tall chest of drawers is 37" wide, 21-1/2" deep, 52" high.

Dresser size is 51" wide, 21" deep, 35" high, the vanity is 51" wide, 19-1/2" deep, 30-1/2" high.

Newly upholstered, the carved bench is 24-1/2" wide, 19" deep, 24" high, and each mirror is 27-1/2" wide, 1-1/4" deep and 40" high.
